Dr. Shekeisha Banner is the founder and owner of Solace Counseling & Consulting, LLC. Shekeisha Banner, PHD, LCSW is a Licensed Psychotherapist, Professor, and FL Board Clinical Supervisor. She has several years of experience working with a broad range of adult clients with issues that include, drug & alcohol addiction, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. Her experience enables her to offer effective evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and couples.
Dr. Shekeisha Banner's primary focus is to help individuals heal, become aware of their inner strengths, and gain confidence and the coping skills needed for a successful future. She utilize a client focused approach centered on mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, and holistic techniques to promote healing, build resilience, and help clients gain confidence for the future. She achieves this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to clients concerns, and customizing an individualized treatment plan.
